Board of Directors
PRESIDENT
RANDY CORSON
has worked for MISCHER since 1993. He managed the operations of Lajitas Resort from 1996 through 2000. Mr. Corson has been a member of the Brewster County Economic Council and the National Tourism Association, and has been elected to the Alpine Chamber of Commerce. When Lajitas was sold in 2000, he moved into the Land Development division of MISCHER and is currently Project Manager of the RiverPark West development. He is active in the Association of Water Board Directors and the Greater Houston Builders Association's Community Developers Council. Mr. Corson received his Bachelors of Science from the University of Houston.
VICE PRESIDENT
RYAN BALDWIN
a native Texan, has been a resident of RiverPark West since 2005, and has lived in the Houston area since May 1998. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in late 2007 after the resignation of RiverPark West’s first elected Board member. Mr. Baldwin was elected to an additional three year term at the July 2008 Annual Meeting. Mr. Baldwin currently manages fire protection and loss control for a major Texas-based forest products and paper company. He is a Certified Safety Professional and a Certified Fire Protection Specialist. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University in 1998. Mr. Baldwin's current term as a director runs until July 2011. Mr. Baldwin was elected to Vice President on April 22, 2010.
SECRETARY / TREASURER
DENISE MONROE
a 5th generation Texan and native Houstonian, has been a resident of RiverPark West for nearly three years. She was appointed to the Board of Directors on April 22, 2010 and elected to Secretary/Treasurer. She replaces Mark Kilkenny who resigned in April. Mrs. Monroe earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University in 1981 and Teaching Certification from University of Houston in 1982. She is a retired teacher with experience in both H.I.S.D. and Alief I.S.D. She has also worked as a CAD Drafter in pipeline mapping. Mrs. Monroe is currently the Social Committee Chairman and has been actively participating in the board meetings for the past year.
